Rozet

Cultural center Rozet has been a partner of sonsbeek20-24 since the start of the sonsbeek archive in 2019. As a welcoming building with many different cultural organizations, Rozet aims to be a place for everybody in the city, where knowledge, ideas and stories are exchanged. Together we have launched an open call, inviting everybody to share physical materials and memories of previous sonsbeek editions. The first result of the open call was shown during the exhibition Sonsbeekarchief/Sonsbeek archive: An archive for the people, by the people (1949-2021), which was part of the first iteration of sonsbeek20-24 in the summer of 2021. In the run up to 2024, we continue to develop new projects and programs together, to build a participative sonsbeek archive.

We continue to show objects and their stories from the archive, including different invitations and questions for the public to contribute to the archive. Keep an eye out for new objects every two months, to be found in our Archive window at Rozet on the fifth floor, and check our news section to find out more.
